Daily Wire (Forward Publishing) is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Content Creator to spark engagement on all social platforms, promote our talent, and open new audiences to the conservative message. The content creator will be responsible for creating and managing content on all Daily Wire platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.

The successful applicant must create “original and engaging content,” develop “brand awareness” strategies for both the website and for its talent, “devise and maintain” posting schedules along multiple platforms, grow presence and followers, “select and create video highlights from talent,” create promotional content, schedule evergreen content, work on the “visual direction for new digital campaigns,” engage with fans and manage feedback. Wew.

The Daily Wire is one of the most successful conservative-oriented pages on Facebook despite the general downturn in engagement for other conservative groups.

In May of this year, Linkedin announced that there are 230,000 unfilled jobs that advertise for marketing skills, and community response to the figure was mixed.

Highlights from the post:

  • Salary 45k-55k
  • Insurance options with time off and a 401k
  • Requires a Los Angeles base with 2+ years comparable experience

The posting appears to be jack-of-all-trades with “Professional photography and photo-editing skills a plus” and “an eye for graphic design.” There is no mention as to the size of the team, and whether the successful applicant will be working with a dedicated SEO.
